OBITUARIES:

JOHN C. MITCHUM

   (Roanoke) John C. Mitchum, Jr. age 73, of 701 Louina St., Roanoke, died at 
Randolph County Hospital on Friday, June 13, 1986.
   Mr. Mitchum is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary George Mitchum; two sisters, 
Mrs. Edna Allen of Wadley and Mrs. Sara Earle of Rt. 1, Five Points; one 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Donna Hall of Wadley; and four stepgrandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mr. Mitchum were conducted at two o'clock Sunday, 
afternoon from Quattlebaum's Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Jeff Holder officiating, 
with burial in Cedarwood Cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Jimmy Baird, Jerry Mitchum, Chris Mitchum, Allen Mitchum, 
Wayne Earle, and Johnny Earle.
   Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
