OBITUARIES:

0zora McClendon Mitchum

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Ozora McClendon Mitchum, age 89, of 306 Mulberry Street, 
Roanoke, died at her home Sunday, Feb. 14, 1988.
   Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marie Smith of Roanoke; one son, 
Bradford Mitchum of Roanoke; and seven grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Mitchum were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 
from North Main Congregational Christian Church, Roanoke.  Interment was in 
Cedarwood Cemetery.  The Rev. Ed Lauderdale officiated.
   Pallbearers were David Smith, Tim Smith, Ed Mitchum, Kenneth Mitchum, Ronnie 
Mitchum and Keith Mitchum.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

[Ozora was preceded in death by her hustand, Wm. Elmo Vesco Mitchum in 1953.]
