OBITUARIES:

Janice Mize

   (WEDOWEE) Mrs. Janice Mize, age 32, of Wedowee, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 
1989, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
   Mrs. Mize was a native of Troup County, Ga., but had lived in Randolph 
County for the past 19 years.  She was a homemaker.
   Survivors include her husband, Tommy Mize of Wedowee; two sons, Kirk and 
Kraig Mize of Wedowee; her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Curtis A. Laney of 
Woodland; and two sisters' Mrs. Elvira Williams of Alpharetta, Ga., and Mrs. 
Airlene Steen of Anniston.
   Services for Mrs. Mize were held Monday, Jan. 1, 1990, at 2 p.m. at Herren's 
Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ridley Parmer officiating.  Interment was in 
the church cemetery.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee was in charge of the arrangements.
