Ashland Progress
Mrs. Nancy M. Moncus died at her home in the. Almond community last Sunday and 
was buried the next morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. J. W. Welborn of Wadley conducted 
the funeral rites. The deceased is survived by three sons, A. J. Moncus of 
Pisgah, Hoyt and Boyd Moncus of Cragford, Route 1, and one daughter, Mrs. Zanie 
Hodge of Wadley, Route. One brother, J. B. Clardy, also survives. Interment was 
in the Almond cemetery, the following acting as pall bearers: L. E. Moncus, Leon 
Moncus, Hezie Moncus, Veston Moncus, Ellis Rowe and Burford Potts. Blair in 
charge.
