She was fifty-three years old and was well known throughout the entire Valley. Mrs. Moncus was a woman beloved by all who knew her and leaves a host of friends to miss her in the everyday walk of life. She is survived by her husband and three sisters. Our hearts go out in love and sympathy to Mr. Moncus in the loss of his devoted wife. May God comfort him in his great sorrow. Pallbearers were Boyd Moncus, Price McConnell, James J. McConnell, Owen McConnell, Taylor M. Alexander. The following girls acted as flower girls: Dessie Lee Moncus, Minnie Lou Moncus, Mrs. James Gay, Margie Moncus and Geraldine Taylor. A precious one from us has gone. A voice we loved is still; A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. Sleep on, dear one, and take thy rest, we loved you dearly, but God loved you best.
