Services for Mrs. Martha Ann Moncus, 80, of Wadley, Rt. 2., were today at 2 p.m. 
at Malone Baptist Church with the Rev. Zenus Windsor and the Rev. Lindsey 
Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Knight Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home 
of Wedowee in charge. Mrs. Moncus died Monday at Traylor's Nursing Home in 
Roanoke. Survivors-s include three stepsons, Boyd Moncus of Delta, Artis Moncus 
of Macon, Ga., and Floyd Moncus of Atlanta a sister, Mrs. Nannie Screws of 
Wadley a brother, Tom Smith of Wadley, several step-grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews. Pallbearers were Dudley Smith, Jim Key, James Watson, Jimmy Screws, 
Robert Jenkins, John Smith, Boyd Moncus, Floyd Moncus and Artis Moncus. Mrs. 
Moncus was a Randolph County native and lifelong resident. She was a homemaker 
and a member of Malone Baptist Church.
