Services for Mrs. Edna Worthy Moody, 84. of Lineville, Rt. 1, were today at 
Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with Jerry Pettus and Aubrey 
Prestridge officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery Mrs. 
Moody died Sunday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include four daughters, 
Mrs. Marilyn New of Anniston, Mrs. Mary Bridges of Cragford, Mrs. Mae Sheets of 
LaGrange, Ga., and Mrs. Jean Fuller of Lineville; three sons, Dallas Moody of 
LaGrange, Curtis Moody of Lineville and Harold Moody, of Bay Minette; two. 
sisters, Mrs. Maudie Cunningham of Lineville and Mrs. Bertie Owens of Florence; 
two brothers, Henry Worthy and Matthew Worthy, both of Alexander City; 30 
grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons. Mrs. Moody 
was a Clay County native, a Randolph County resident, a housewife and a member 
of Liberty Church of Christ.
