He was a retired carpenter an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Mary Jo Brown Moody of Macon two daughters Mrs. Frances Adams of Scottdale and Mrs. Beatrice Godbee of Forest Park seven sons John W Moody and Billy W Moody of Stockbridge Coleman Moody of Prattville Ala Ray Moody of Woodland Ala, John D. Moody of Centerville, Clarence Moody of Decatur and Bobby Moody of Jonesboro, two stepsons Bobby Townsend of Macon and Phillip Townsend of Perry, a stepdaughter Hazel Kania of Homosassa Fla, 30 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
