OBITUARIES:

Bertha Pearl Morris

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Bertha Pearl Morris, age 74, of Route 1 Roanoke died Monday, 
Jan. 28, 1985, in the Baptist Home for Senior Citizens, Cook Springs, Alabama.
   Mrs. Morris is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Doris Baker of Pell City, 
Mrs. Ruby Gunn of Birmingham, and Ms. Dorothy Mitchum of Detroit, Michigan; one 
son, Charlie Ray Morris of Route 1 Roanoke; one brother, Earl Kirby of Valley; 
and nine grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 2 
p.m. from the Mt. Zion Christian Church with the Rev. Junior Poore, the Rev. 
Tommy Turner, and the Rev. E.G. Clark officiating.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

[Bertha Pearl, b. Jul 12, 1910, is the daughter of Mack Arthur Kirby and Mary 
Cumi Key; wife of Charlie C. Morris who preceded her in 1970.]
