Roanoke Leader
Warren Rudolph Morrison of Newell Rt. 1, age 41, passed away in a Veterans 
Administration hospital in Tuskegee at 10:20 Wednesday morning, Sept. 4. Mr. 
Morrison is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daphie Morrison, and his son Rodney and 
daughter Judy, all of Newell Rt. 1; his mother, Mrs. Nannie Morrison of Newell 
Rt. 1; and a sister, Mrs. Byrd Stewart of Newell Rt. 1. Funeral services for Mr. 
Morrison were conducted Friday, Sept. 6, at 2 p. m. from the Union Baptist Church 
by Rev. Ray Runyan and Rev. T. D. Noles. Burial was in the church cemetery. 
Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home directed.
