Funeral services for Sgt 1st Class Billy J. Morrison will be held Saturday at 12 
noon from the Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev Henry B. Underwood Rev Hobart 
Murphee and Rev Warren Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Morrison’s 
Chapel near Wedowee Alabama at 2:30 pm CST with full military honors. Serving as 
pallbearers will be Henry Barbian, David Frank, Gorden Russell, Otis Nunally, 
James Lowe and Willis Williams. Honorary will be members of the official board 
of the Asbury Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Jean Carolyn 
McCord Morrison of Columbus his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Morrison of Heflin 
Ala., two sons Joey Morrison and Kenneth Morrison both Columbus, nine brothers 
Thomas J. Morrison and Truman Morrison both of Sylacauga Ala, W. A. Morrison of 
Anniston Ala, Major Jack Morrison of Eufaula Ala, Red Morrison of Birmingham 
Ala, Byron Morrison of Roanoke Ala, Wyndell and George Morrison both of Wedowee 
Ala E-6 Willis Morrison USA two sisters Mrs. Dorothy Faye Allbright of Anniston 
Ala and Mrs. Juliette Cockrell Birmingham Ala Those desiring may contribute 
Morrison’s Chapel in place flowers.
