Ashland Progress
The fatal shooting of Hubert Virgil Morrow occurred in Lineville last Saturday 
afternoon when Policeman Cecil Williams attempted to arrest him for public 
drunkenness. Williams was brought here and is now in the County jail. It is 
reported that Court will convene this afternoon for a preliminary trial. Morrow 
is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Morrow. He was a returned 
service man, having spent four years in the Marine Corps.
