SHELNUT died suddenly at her home at Center Point at 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon. The funeral and interment was at Lebanon Friday afternoon. The services were largely attended and were conducted by Brother C. B. HOLDER. Mrs. SHELNUT was a lady of excellent Christian character. She leaves a husband and four grown children. SHELNUTT, 21 July 1847—14 September 1927, her husband, William SHELNUTT, no dates, and Resie SHELNUTT SMITH, 2 June 1879—1 January 1965, buried next to W. N. and M. C. SHELNUTT, are probably children. All interred in Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery, Randolph County, Alabama. The Leader obituary and her headstone list her surname as “SHELNUT,” not “SHELNUTT.”
