BAILEY died suddenly Sunday night in Lowell, leaving a husband and several children. The funeral services were conducted Monday at Union Hill by Dr. RUCKER. [From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 6 October 1915, p.1] ---------- Mary E. KILGORE BAILEY, 24 August 1853—3 October 1915, Jasper H. BAILEY, 9 February 1853—12 October 1926, her husband, David W. BAILEY, 21 August 1883—12 January 1901, her son, All interred in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph County, Alabama, along with many other BAILEYs. Dr. Joseph Wiley RUCKER was pastor of Roanoke First Baptist Church. Lowell was the mill village of the Handley Manufacturing Company later annexed by Roanoke.
