MARTHA JANE MICKLE ---------------------------- Mrs. Martha Jane MICKLE, age 70, died at her home on Route 1, Roanoke, at 7 o’clock last Saturday. She had been in poor health for some time. Besides her husband, Bill MICKLE, Mrs. MICKLE is survived by three sons: Emmett, of Montgomery, Mack, of LaFayette, and Floyd, of LaGrange, Ga.; five daughters: Mrs. Nellie BOONE, of Langdale, and Mrs. R. A. BALDWIN, Mrs. Dallas WALDREP, and Misses Ruth and Annie MICKLE, of Route 1, Roanoke; 26 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sisters, and three brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. MICKLE were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Broughton Ridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Charlie HEARD with interment in the church yard. MICKLE, 8 Jul 1910--8 Feb 1985, possibly a son, interred Rock Springs Congregational Christian Church Cemetery, near Corn House, Randolph County, Alabama County, Alabama. Nellie BOONE BURKE, 26 Sep 1902--26 Jun 1958, is possibly Nellie MICKLE BOONE, interred in Old Rocky Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, east of New Hope, Randolph County, Alabama.
