JONES DIES VERY SUDDENLY ---------------------------- Mrs. Margaret [MOOTY] JONES died suddenly shortly after the noon hour yesterday of [sic -- at] her home at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. T. C. [Thomas Camp] GOODWIN. She had been indisposed for several days, and it was known that her heart was affected, yet her demise came as a shock to her devoted family. Mrs. JONES was 76 years of age and was a cultured, christian [sic] lady. Her husband, Professor Leonidas JONES, died nine years ago. Three children -- B. C. JONES, Mrs. T. C. GOODWIN and Mrs. E. W. [Watt] HILL -- mourn the loss of a good mother. The funeral services will be conducted at the Presbyterian church at 2:00 this afternoon. Rev. W. T. HOLLINGSWORTH will be in charge.
