Services for Mrs. Perlona Neal, 89, of Heflin, will be held today at 2 p.m. at 
the Benefield Funeral Home Chapel in Wedowee, with the Rev. Raymond Davis 
officiating. Burial will follow in the Levens Baptist Church Cemetery, with 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Neal died Saturday in the Cleburne County 
Nursing Home. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dollie Williams of Newell, 
Mrs. Brooksie Hodges of Roanoke, Mrs. Charlene Payne of Heflin and Mrs. Shirley 
Williams of Rome, Ga.; a son, Artis Neal of Bowdon, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 11 
great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Neal lived in Randolph 
County most of her life, having resided in Heflin the past several years. She 
was the daughter of the late Luther and Ledonda Noles Duffie, and was preceded 
in death by her husband, Clint Neal.
