Services for Jerry Lynn Nelson, 12, Heflin, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 
Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will 
be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral. Home of Lineville in charge. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home. The body will be at the 
funeral home until time bf service. Mr. Nelson died Monday at his home. Survivors 
include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nelson of Heflin; a brother, Jody Nelson 
of Heflin, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Frances Murray of Heflin; 
and Mrs. Louvania Nelson of Heflin. Mr. Nelson was a Randolph County native and 
had lived in Cleburne County for the past five years. He was a sixth-grade 
student at Pleasant Grove Elementary School and a Baptist.
