Services for Tommy Wayne Nelson, 36, of Wedowee, Rt. 1, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday 
at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Erical Miller and the Rev. Steve 
Dempsey officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home until an hour before the service. Mr. Nelson died Thursday at 
Wedowee Hospital. Survivors include a son, Jody Nelson of Lineville; his mother, 
Mrs. Louvinia M. Nelson of Heflin; a sister, Mrs. Jane Gann of Delta; a brother, 
Timmy Nelson of Heflin; and his grandmother, Mrs. Elvie Morrison of Lineville. 
Pallbearers will be Glenn Price, Sherlon Bolt, Mike Shafer, Johnny Payne, Dale 
Morrison and Jack Morrison. Honorary pallbearers will be employees from Hub 
Trucking Co. Mr. Nelson was Randolph County native, a Baptist and a driver for 
Hub Trucking.
