The Anniston Star
Funeral services for Mrs. J.S. New age 57, who died suddenly Saturday morning at 
her home near Delta, was be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Union Hill 
Church. Tha Rev. J. P. Bean will officiate, and burial win be in the church 
cemetery, with White directing. Pallbearers will be J. O. Motes. Awrey Rice, 
George W. Rice, Knox Brooks, George R. Motes. B. C Noell. W. P. McDonald and G. 
R. Fuller. Mrs. New is survived by six sons, S.D. and N.R. New of Delta. W.T., 
and H.T. New of Anniston and J.M. and N. R New of Colorado, Texas, and two 
daughters Mrs. J. R Humphries of Lineville and Miss Ella Mae New.
