The Atlanta Constitution
Funeral services for James B. Noel, 63, whose death occurred Monday afternoon at 
the residence were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pleasant Hill church, in 
Randolph County, Alabama, with Rev. W. L. Head, of Villa Rica, officiating. 
Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Surviving are the wife Mrs. Mary Noel, 
five daughters Mrs. S. H. Carlton and Mrs. R. A. McGill of Wadley. Ala., Mrs. Joe 
Benton, Mrs. M. S. Simmons and Miss Louise Noel of LaGrange, two sons Grady Noel 
of Wadley Ala., and J. B. Noel, of Roanoke. Ala. three sisters. Mrs. R. L. 
Roberts, of Rock Mills. Ala., Mrs. L. S. Clegg and Mrs. J. M. Clegg of Opelika. 
Ala.; three brothers. A. K. Noel, LaGrange J. R. Noel of Wadley. Ala., and G. W. 
Noel, of Fluvanna, Texas.
