OBITUARIES:

Nomie B. Noles

   (ROANOKE) Nomie B. Noles, age 82, of 710 Radney Street, Roanoke, died 
Thursday, Jan. 9, 1986, in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   She is survived by her husband, John Noles; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Kate 
Barnes of Auburn and Mrs. Robbie Bledsoe of Montgomery; four sons, Amos Noles 
and Ernest Noles, both of Roanoke, Thurman Noles of Dadeville, and Grady Noles 
of Corpus Christi, Tex.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four 
sisters, Mrs. Gladys Smith of Bowdon, Ga., Mrs. Willie Calhoun of Roanoke, Mrs. 
Estee Arrington of Graham, and Mrs. Caba Stewart of LaGrange, Ga.; and two 
brothers, Howard Butler of Cullman and Carl Butler of Atlanta.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Noles were conducted Friday afternoon at two 
o'clock from Faith Baptist Church, the Rev. S.T. Janney and the Rev. W.L. Eley, 
officiating, with burial in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
   Pallbearers were Pat Barnes, Thurman Noles Jr., David Noles, Chris Noles, 
Mike Barnes, and Jerry Noles.
   Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
