Anniston Star
George W. Noles died last Friday morning at his home two miles east of Wedowee. 
He was 77 years of age and had been a resident of this section. He was a good 
citizen and enjoyed the friendship of many people of this county. Funeral and 
Interment took place Saturday, afternoon at Noon Day, Services were conducted by 
Rev. G. G. Gravett. Survivors are the widow, three sons Ira Noles of Newman, E.C. 
Noles of LaGrange, and Roe Noles Route 2: three daughters, Mrs. Cap Arrington. 
Waresville, Mrs. H. R Nix of Wedowee, Route 2. and Mrs. G. A. Walls, of Chula, 
Ga, and a number of grandchildren.
