NORTON Funeral services for James W. Norton, age 82, were held at Antioch church on Thursday, Feb. 17 with Revs. Skinner, Pritchard and Brasher officiating, Brown-Service directing. Pallbearers were J.T. Beason, W.I. Owen, Fred McMurray, Grady Boyd, Russell Beason and W.A. Prestridge. Mr. Norton had been sick only a short time at the time of his death. He was a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by four sons, Ellis, Arthur, Cecil and Will, and 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was born in Randolph county but moved to Cleburne county when quite a small boy and spent the remainder of his life in this county.
