DEATHS

JAMES W. NORTON

Funeral services for James W. Norton, age 82, were held at Antioch church on 
Thursday, Feb. 17 with Revs. Skinner, Pritchard and Brasher officiating, 
Brown-Service directing. Pallbearers were J.T. Beason, W.I. Owen, Fred 
McMurray, Grady Boyd, Russell Beason and W.A. Prestridge. Mr. Norton had 
been sick only a short time at the time of his death. He was a member of the 
Methodist church. He is survived by four sons, Ellis, Arthur, Cecil and 
Will, and 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was born in 
Randolph county but moved to Cleburne county when quite a small boy and 
spent the remainder of his life in this county.

and for the many kindnesses shown us by our friends and neighbors during the 
death of our husband and father. May God's richest blessings abide with you,
