OBITUARIES:

John Louis Oliver

   (FIVE POINTS) John Louis Oliver, age 57, of Route 1 Five Points, died Friday 
evening, Feb. 8, 1985.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Essie Paige Oliver of Five Points; two 
daughters, Miss Serita Oliver and Miss Fredia Oliver, both of Bessemer; two 
brothers, Roy Oliver Jr. of Five Points and Robert Oliver of Roanoke; three 
sisters, Mrs. Ida Simpson of Chattanooga, Tenn., and  Mrs. Edith Drake and Mrs. 
Fannie Kendricks of Five Points.
   Funeral services for Mr. Oliver were held Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. from 
Canaan Baptist Church, Welch.  Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery with 
the Rev. William R. Terry, pastor, officiating.
   Clark Funeral Service of Roanoke was in charge of the arrangements.
