OBITUARIES:

Sallie Mae Henderson Paige

   (ROANOKE) Mrs. Sallie Mae Henderson Paige, age 72, of the Welch community, 
Roanoke Rt. 4, died Tuesday, July 9, 1985, while confined to her home.
   Born in Randolph County, she was a member of Canaan Baptist Church at Welch 
in Chambers County most of her life.
   Mrs. Paige is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Paige of Roanoke Rt.4; two 
sons, Robert Lee and Roy Paige, both of Atlanta; three daughters, Miss Lola Mae 
Paige and Mrs. Bobbie Ann Lee, both of Atlanta, and Mrs. Lue Jean Beard of Five 
Points; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Maggie Owens of Roanoke: two brothers, Joe Henry 
Bailey of Vancouber, Wash., and Charlie Henderson of Cleveland, Ohio; and two 
sisters, Mrs. Lucille Higgins of Hickory Flat community and Mrs. Emma Dean of 
Cleveland, Ohio.
   Funeral services were held from Canaan Missionary Baptist Church at two 
o’clock Saturday afternoon, July 13, with the Rev. William R. Terry, pastor, 
officiating.
   Casket-bearers were grandsons.
   Clark Funeral Service of Roanoke was in charge of arrangements.
