OBITUARIES:

Howard D. Parmer

   (WOODLAND) Howard D. Parmer, age 71, of Rt. 1 Woodland, died Friday, Feb. 
13, 1987 in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   Mr. Parmer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie S. Parmer; two daughters, 
Mrs. Charlotte Bailey and Mrs. Donnie Green Lewis, both of Woodland; and one 
granddaughter, Bridget Green of Woodland.
   Funeral services for Mr. Parmer were Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Bethel 
East Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Palmer, Rev. Steve Williams and Rev. 
Ridley Herren officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Chris Parmer, Steve Spradlin, Junior Parmer, John Traylor, 
Frank Campbell, and Roger Maddox.
