James W. Palmer, age 51 prominent Randolph County farmer, died at his home near 
here this morning. Funeral services will be conducted at o'clock Sunday afternoon 
at Bethel East Church. White of Anniston will be in charge. Mr. Palmer was born 
and reared in the house where he died. He is survived by his father, five sons, 
four daughters and a brother.
