The Atlanta Constitution
Funeral for Carl Dennis Parrish, 53, of 207 Hurt St NE will be held at 3 am 
Monday at Concord Primitive Baptist Church in Wadley, Ala., with burial in the 
church yard. Elder Joe Cannon will officiate. Parrish, a carpenter, died 
Saturday. He was a native of Randolph County, Ala., and a veteran of World War 
II. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Willie Mae Hardigree Parrish; daughters, Mrs. 
Geri Dooley of Mableton and Mrs. Ann Hare of Elberton; sons, Danny Parrish and 
Benny Parrish, both of the Air Force; mother, Mrs. L.M. Parrish of Roanoke. Ala.: 
sisters, Mrs. Elsie Wood of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Ruth Liles of Lanett, Ala., Mrs. 
Julia Hodges of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Dovie Tobin of Roanoke, one brother 
Raymond Parrish of Lanett; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
