Ashland Progress
A native of Randolph County, a resident of Lineville Rt. Willie M. Pate passed 
away at Birmingham, April 19. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Gordon 
Taylor and Rev. Alton Campbell at Dingler's Chapel Church, April 20. Burial was 
in the Church Cemetery. Blair Funeral Home in charge. Other than his wife, Mrs. 
Becky Pate are four daughters, Mrs. Robert Ozley and Mrs. Nelson King, 
Birmingham, Mrs. George Walker, Carrollton, Ga., two brothers and one sister. 
Pallbearers were Pittman Price, Charlie Taylor, Hoyt McDonald, Curtis Morrison, 
Lowell Yates, Omer McCollum.
