Wilmer Lewis Pauley, 3, of Newell, died Wednesday at his residence after a short 
illness. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the' Rev. 
Harold Blanton officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge.  Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Howard Pauley; a brother Howard E. Pauley, a sister, Linda Gail Pauley; his 
paternal grandmother, Mrs. Cassie Pauley; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Wilmer Whitley, all of Heflin. The body will remain at the residence of Mrs. 
Cassie Pauley of Heflin until time of services.
