Anniston Star
Services for Herbert Lee Pauley, 43. of Newell. Rt 1., will be Thursday at Union 
Baptist Church in Newell with the Rev. Ray Runyan and the Rev. Freddie Whitley 
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral 
Home of Wedowee in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
until service time. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Mr. 
Pauley died Monday at his home. Survivors include his mother. Mrs. Cassie Pauley 
of Newell, a daughter, Miss Leisa Pauley of Newell; a son. Robert Pauley of 
Newell; three half-sisters. Mrs. Florence Mitchell of Wadley. Mrs. Lovie 
Williams of Palmetto, Ga. and Mrs. Annie Lyner of Wedowee: and two brothers. 
Howard Pauley and Gwin Pauley, both of Newell. Mr. Pauley, a pulpwooder. was a 
Randolph County native.
