OBITUARIES:

Mrs. Mary Zadie Peacock

   (LANETT) Mrs. Mary Zadie Peacock, age 76, died Monday evening, Nov. 29, 
1982, in Lanier Memorial Hospital, Valley.
   A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Peacock had lived in the Valley for the 
past 45 years, where she was a member of the Assembly of God in Lanett. She had 
been in declining health for the past year.
   She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Baldwin of Lanett; five sisters, 
Mrs. J.B. Fuller, Mrs. A.J. Peacock, Mrs. Jack Leverett, Mrs. O.G. Luker, and 
Mrs. Harvey McWhorter, all of Lanett; and one brother, J.M. Foster of Lanett; 
and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Peacock were conducted at one o'clock CST 
Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 1, at Wesley Chapel in Randolph County, with 
interment in the adjoining cemetery.  Officiating ministers were the Rev. Bob 
Schoonhoven and the Rev. D. W. Patrick.
   Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Valley in charge of arrangements.
