The Montgomery Advertiser
Cecil Raymond Peacock 44, a resident of 354 Heflin Ave., Roanoke, died in the 
Randolph County Hospital Jan. 18, Saturday. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. 
Sunday from the Roanoke First Methodist Church with the Rev. Leon Railey and the 
Rev. Jesse Steele officiating. Burial was in the Randolph Memory Gardens Cemetery 
Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home of Roanoke directing. Survivors include 
his widow, Mrs. Bessie Peacock; two daughters. Misses Sara and Julia Ann Peacock, 
all of Roanoke his mother, Mrs. J. P. Peacock, Selma; four brothers Elton and 
Lamar Peacock, both of Selma, Foy Peacock, Chattsworth. Calif., and Paul Peacock, 
Birmingham.
