West Point News
Funeral services were conducted Monday, from the New Harmony church, near 
Lineville, for Luther Wright Peek of Fairfax, who died at the Langdale hospital, 
Sunday. The Reverend J. W. Chambers and the Reverend J. D. Dollar officiated. Mr. 
Peek, 59 years old, was born in Cedartown. Ga. He had been ill only a few days 
when death occurred. His membership was in the Christian church. Survivors 
include two daughters Miss Glen Ella Peek and Miss Addie Lou Peek, both of 
Fairfax; one sister, Mrs. Lula Robertson, of near Lineville, four brothers, O. H. 
and Ollie of near Lineville; Robert, of Pisgah; and Sterling Peak, of Perry, Ga. 
Burial was in the New Harmony cemetery, conducted by Johnson and Company.
