Mrs. Sallie L. Phillips of 992 Dowers St., SW, mother of Mrs. Pearl Calhoun;  
Mr. and Mrs. Rayfield Allen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry King, Mr. and Mrs. 
John Henry Ramsey and family, Mr. and Mrs. Will Shepherd and family, Mr. and 
Mrs. K. C. Phillips and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Calhoun, and the 18 
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. Sallie L. Phillips Sunday, 
Sept. 1, 1957, at 1 p.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church, Wedowee, Ala., Rev. W. 
S. Smith officiating. Interment, churchyard. The body will lie in state at the 
residence from 5 p.m. Saturday until hour of departure. Flower ladies and 
pallbearers are asked to meet at the residence at 8:30 a.m. The cortege will 
leave at 9 o'clock. Hanley Ashby Street Funeral Home.
