OBITUARIES:

George Ivers Pike

   (ROANOKE) George Ivers Pike, age 63, of Rt. 2, Roanoke, died Tuesday, Feb. 
11, 1986, in Randolph County Hospital, Roanoke.
   Mr. Pike is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen L. Pike; one daughter, Mrs. 
Echols Hart of Pine Mountain, Ga.; two sons, Butch Pike of Rt. 3, Roanoke and 
Gary Pike of Rt. 2, Roanoke; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Willis Lee 
Ducote of Wichita, Kansas; and four brothers, Cleo Pike, Doyle Pike, and Marvin 
Pike, all of Rock Mills, and Noah Pike of Roanoke.
   Funeral services for Mr. Pike were conducted Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. 
from Quattlebaum's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Baugh officiating.  Burial 
was in the Restlawn Memorial Cemetery near LaGrange, Ga., with Quattlebaum's 
Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
   Pallbearers were Gerald Shappard, Mike Smith, Joe Pike, Gerson Pike, Albert 
Kirby, and James Norred.
