Auby Herschel Pollard Auby Herschel Pollard, age 64, Wedowee Rt. 2, passed away 
at his home Monday, June 12, at 5:30 p. m. Mr. Pollard is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Zula Pollard; 2 sons, Leonard of Wedowee Rt. 2 and Denson of LaGrange; 2 
daughters, Mrs. Sue Smith of Carrollton, Ga., and Mrs. Dorothy Harlin of Lanett; 
7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Dela French of Atlanta. Funeral services for Mr. 
Pollard were conducted at 2 o'clock this Wednesday afternoon from the Rocky 
Branch Baptist Church by Rev. Benny Peacock. Burial was in the church cemetery. 
Quattlebaum's Brown Service Funeral Home directed.
