Mr. Prince was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and was an evangelist for the Church of Christ. He was a member of the Napoleon Church of Christ. Mr. Prince is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Prince; three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Thompson of LaGrange, Ga., Mrs. Kathleen Baber of Atlanta, and Mrs. Wyette Davis of Montgomery; three sons, John E. Prince of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Billy W. Prince of Nashville, Tenn., and Tommy Joe Prince of Woodland; four sisters, Mrs. Noah Langley and Mrs. Rudell Harris of Woodland, Mrs. Vivian Rowe of LaGrange, Ga., and Mrs. Annis [Annie] Pearl Mann of Lanett; two brothers, Gordon E. Prince of Jacksonville, Fla. and Calvin Prince of Woodland; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Prince were Saturday, May 25, 1985 at 1:00 p.m. at Napoleon Church of Christ with the Rev. Pat Atkinson and Bro. Charles Hurst officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and sons-in-law.
