He had been ill about two weeks. The combined skill of a number of physicians could not check the disease. The interment was at Mt Pisgah [Methodist] church, after services conducted by Rev T N CRUMPTON, pastor of the diseased [sic]. Dr DEAN was one of the most prominent and respected citizens of this county. He was always found on the right side of moral questions. In his busy life as a practicing physician he has done many a kindly act and bestowed many a labor of love upon the needy and unfortunate. His home always abounded in hospitality.
