Anniston Star
Mrs. Cora Lee Reaves 83 of Anniston died Monday at her home after a long 
illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Union Baptist 
Church in Randolph County with the Rev. Monroe Wiggins officiating. Burial be in 
adjacent cemetery with Gray Brown - Service Mortuary in charge. She is survived 
by four sons, Wilson of Wedowee, Lee of Heflin, John of Anniston and Murley of 
Attalla; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Russell, Mrs. Nellie Butler, Mrs. Lilda 
Lumpkin and Mrs. Elba Free, all of Anniston, and Mrs. Bertha Williams of Newell; 
two brothers, S. N. Reaves and S.M. Reaves, both of Newell; one sister, Mrs. Ada 
Badger of Gadsden, 48 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren and five great-great 
grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Reaves had lived in Calhoun 
County for eight years.
