On last Sunday night, six miles north of town, at the residence of Mr. T. E. 
Dasharoon, while engaged in a family row Mr. Disharoon shot and killed his son-
in-law, Mr. A. M. "Dock" Reaves. Disharoon did not receive a scratch, while 
Reaves was shot five times all pistol shots, from which he died immediately. Bob 
Saxon was the main witness, he is having hold of Reaves all the time of the 
fight, trying to part them. Reaves corpse was removed to his home on Monday, 
where it was prepared for burial and interred at Liberty Grove church yard 
today. He leaves a wife and live children to remember the sad tragedy. Disharoon 
was tried before Justice Court and bound over in the sum of $300 for appearance 
at Circuit Court.
