Roanoke Leader
James Wylie Reeves, 56, died Thursday evening at 6:30 at his home on West Avenue. 
Funeral and burial were conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 at Concord, with Revs. 
W. W. Lankford, L. G. Lankford, and T. E. Steely in charge and Quattlebaum 
directing. The widow, one son, Roy, and one daughter, Mrs. Curtis Meacham, of 
Roanoke; three sisters: Miss Nan Reeves and Mrs. Oppie George, of Roanoke, and 
Mrs. Marion Worthy, of Cragford, survive.
