OBITUARIES:

Glenn M. Rogers

   (HOUSTON, TEX.) Glenn M. Rogers, age 31, of Houston, Tex. died Sunday, May 
9, 1982, in Houston, Tex.
   Mr. Rogers had been a resident of Randolph County until six years ago. He 
was a veteran of the war in Vietnam and a truck driver.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jacqueline Rogers of Houston; his parents 
Mr. and Mrs. O.G. (Otis) Rogers of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Robinson of 
Greenville, S.C., and Mrs. Jean Conger of Wedowee; and five brothers, Kenny 
Rogers and Buddy Rogers of Roanoke, Robert Rogers of Fountain Valley, Cali., 
Richard Rogers of LaGrange, Ga., and Junior Rogers of Houston.
   Funeral services for Mr. Rogers were set for two o'clock Wednesday 
afternoon, May 12, at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Louie Olds 
officiating, with burial in the New Harmony Congregational Christian Church 
Cemetery, friends serving as pallbearers.
   Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
