 Ledger-Enquirer
A 30-year-old Vietnam War veteran was killed when fire swept through his home 
west of here late Monday night. Randolph County Coroner Dr Gerald Everett 
identified the dead man as John Wayne Rodgers. Fire Department officials said the 
blaze was out of control when they arrived at the scene in the Corinth Church 
area between here and Wadley.

He is buried in the Knight Cemetery, Randolph County, AL.
