W.L. Rollins 71 of Langdale died early this morning at his residence after short 
illness Born in Clay County Alabama Rollins was retired farmer and had lived in 
Langdale since 1942 He was a member of the Highway Methodist Church in Roanoke 
Ala. Funeral will be held Saturday at 4 pm at the Rocky Branch Ala Baptist 
Church with the Rev Joe Scott of Langdale conducting the services Burial will be 
in the church cemetery with Johnson and Company. Funeral Home of Langdale in 
charge Survivors are two sons Levi Rollins of Route 3 Roanoke Ala and Harvey 
Rollins of Lansdale six daughters Mrs. Nannie Robinson Route 2 Wedowee Ala, Miss 
Lillie Rollins, Mrs. T L Wright, Mrs. D W Alsobrook, Mrs. A J Richardson and 
Mrs. Rank Aiken all of Langdale one brother Roy Rollins Route 2 Wedowee, 33 
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
