Mrs. Lera Luellen Seegar 73 of Wedowee died Sunday at Wedowee Hospital Funeral 
will be at 2 pm (CST) today at the First Baptist Church of Wedowee with burial in 
the Wedowee Masonic Cemetery according to Benefield Funeral Home. Mrs. Seegar was 
a life-long resident of Wedowee. She taught school in Randolph County. Survivors 
include her husband Pearse Seegar Wedowee, three sons Ballard Seegar Phenix City 
Ala., Thomas Seegar and John Seegar both of Wedowee, two daughters Mrs. Durward 
Adcock Roanoke Ala and Mrs. Edward Nance Anniston Ala., three sisters Mrs. Era 
Boyce Weathers and Miss Lucile Ballard both of Wedowee., Mrs. Mary Frances 
Ingram.
