Anniston Star
Funeral services for Idus L. Sellers, 70, of Heflin, who died Thursday, will be 
held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Church with the Revs. Loy White and Ernest 
Lipham. Burial will be in Mandy's Chapel Cemetery. Survivors are his wife Mrs. 
Artie Sellers; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Wyatt of Anniston; three sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Landers and Mrs. Nina Bolt of Oxford and Mrs. Bell Bennett of Childersburg; 
one brother, Henry Sellers of Anniston, seven grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gil McCraw, Bryce Vieten, Jimmy Wyatt, 
Millard Mize, Garfield Sellers and John Landers. A native of Randolph County, 
Mr. Sellers had lived there most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I 
and a member of Union Hill Church. The body will lie in state at the residence 
until time of services.
