The Atlanta Constitution
Mr. Robert Edward of Pine Hill, Ala., died at the City-County Hospital LaGrange, 
Ga., Thursday, Feb. 23, at 8 p m. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pat 
Wright; of Cullman, Ala.; Mrs. Delia Knott, of Graham, Ala. Mrs. Alley Wright, 
of Jopell, Ala.; five sons. Perry Shaddix, of LaGrange: W. R. Shaddix, Paul 
Shadix, of Birmingham; Harvey E. Shaddix, of Orrville, Ala., and John W. 
Shaddix, of Cullman, Ala.: two sisters, Mrs. Mary Fields, of Heflin. Ala.: Mrs. 
John Messer, of LaGrange; one brother, Henderson Shaddix, of Anniston, Ala.; 33 
grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral ' 
services will be held Saturday at 3 p. m. (EST) from the Pine Hill Christian 
Church, near Wedowee, Ala. Interment, churchyard. Rev. O. C. Reason, of 
LaGrange, officiating. Groover & Barnette, Inc.
