Death of Mrs. Martha Shelnutt
Potash, Ala., Nov 25, 1895
Ed. Toiler: I reget to annouce the death of Mrs. Martha Shelnutt, which took 
place on the 18th of this month, after a lingering illness of thirteen months. 
She was born Spet 23, 1841. She leaves an aged husband, two sons and five 
daughters; also, 18 living grandchildren, Her mother, four sisters and one 
brother also survive her. Her brother stayed with us last night, and was 
greatly troubled, though we trust all will turn out to the best. Mr, Shelnutt, 
husband of the deceased, is left in a very embarrassed as to need the 
assistance of his friends and relatives at once, which we hope will be 
extended to him.
